Assignment

Dear Family,
Your child will need to write a report and make a diorama on an animal during Christmas Vacation. The project and report will be due on January 9, 2018. The report should include the following:
Topic Sentence
What type of animal it is,(mammal, reptile, bird etc.)
Which body covering it has,(what it looks like, does it have fur, feathers, scales, a shell)
Where it lives, ( habitat)
What it eat and any other interesting facts and adaptations.
Closing sentence (conclusion)

Parents, you may help your child with the animal report by gathering books, looking up on the internet, helping with correct spelling, helping your child form correct sentences and any printing of illustrations for the report. Do not use scientific words that your child may not be able to read aloud. Your child will be expected to read the report out to the class. Please do not write the report or type it up for them.
On the diorama you may help your child put it together and help them in anyway you can. You may find some examples on Youtube-"How to make a diorama". Make it  fun experience for your child. You are creating fun memories with them.
