Frequently Asked Questions:
- Can I accompany my child during testing on Thursdays? Yes, but this option will only be available between 7:30-8:20am. We will have a tent outside our school with the Pico Pharmacy team available to facilitate testing. You will be able to help with swabbing at this point or simply be there for moral support. We will still need you to submit a consent form in order to have your child participate.
- How will testing occur? Similar to our Picture Day schedule, we will have classes come up to the Innovation Lab to be tested by the Pico Pharmacy team. They will then walk back to class together.
- What happens if a child is positive? If you child's test results are positive, then you will be contacted by a District Nurse, Pharmacy Staff Member or a Public Health employee. Proper contact tracing will take place thereafter.
- How will I receive my child's tests results? All test results will be provided via email account. Please ensure you have your up-to-date email on Aeries.
- What if I do not receive my results? Please do NOT call Pico Pharmacy. Instead, please contact [email protected] Note, this link will go live on 1/20/22.
- I do not want my child to participate in COVID-19 testing at school, what do I do? You may enroll your child in our Independent Studies Program. For information on Independent Studies, please contact the Student Services Department at [email protected] or by phone at 562-801-7380.
