Students Named for the Month of October showing the character trait of Trustworthiness!

Twenty-five students were selected by their teachers to be honored as those students who demonstrated the most traits of being a trustworthy person for the month of October. During the school year the different pillars of Character Counts will be celebrated. Kindergarteners nominated are Vincent Gradillas, Evony Dera, Elijah Hernandez, David Aguirre and Leila Leal-Robles. First graders nominated are Ava Hernandez, Anairam Salazar, Faith Achig, Eddie Velasco and Nalani Childers. Second graders nominated are Natalie Diaz, Darian Valencia, Angel Gutierrez and Mariana Duenas. Third graders nominated are Jasmin Leon, Christian Hernandez, Acacia Llamas and Ahriana Martinez. Fourth graders nominated are Maria Murillo, Vivian Rodriguez, Kimberly Herrera and Isaiah Lopez. Fifth graders nominated are Emmanuel Saavedra, Ashley Estrada and Daniela Sandoval.

Annual Harvest Festival

Rivera's Annual Harvest Festival will be held Friday, October 19th from 4-7 p.m. Pre-sale tickets will be available from Monday, October 15th - Thursday, October 18th. Pre-Sale tickets are 12 for $5.00. Cost of tickets the day of the festival are 50 cents each. Hope you join the fun!

Responsible Students Named for the Month of September

First graders were Jason Castillo, Leslie Gutierrez, Edward Montano, Roxanne Preciado, and Isaiah Quevado. Second graders were Andrea Gonzales, Joseline Gonzalez, Layla Navarro, and Matthew Rivera. Third graders were Isaac Calderon, Diana Garcia, Ariana Lemus, and Mia Vela. Fourth graders were Citali Adame, Christian Mendez, Rolando Morales Garcia, and Ivette Rodriguez. Kindergarteners honored were Bryana Acevedo, Aliah Lopez, Ruby Paz, Roxanne Preciado and Hailey Salmeron. First graders were Jennifer Landaverde, Layla Navarro, Paulina Sandoval ad Jennifer Zuniga. Second graders were Alejandro Martin Del Campo, Denise Herrera, Alyssa Melendrez, Isaiah Medina and Dana Mendoza. Second graders were Kylie Martinez, Dalila Romero, Savannah Hernandez and Celeste Arellano. . Third graders were Pablo Estrada, Citlali Adame, Melanie Ortega, Helen Mendez and Christian Alvarez. Fourth graders were Marta Acosta, Stephanie Mendiola and Nya Marquez. Fifth graders were Samantha Rodriguez, Rene Gallegos and Evelyn Mendoza.
